2.2.1 - Symptom of Exposure Health/Environment Highly Flammable (Flammable liquids, category 2) Isooctane has produced kidney damage in rats in a subchronic oral laboratory study. Aspiration hazard if swallowed - may be harmful if swallowed and enters airways. (Aspiration hazard, catagory 2) Inhalation may cause dizziness, nausea, lack of coordination, narcosis, unconsciousness. Ingestion may cause diarrhea, slight central nervous system depression, difficulty with breathing and fatigue.
