2.2 Label elements

OSHA regulations also permit other NIOSH/MSHA respirators (negative pressure type) under specified conditions (see your safety equipment supplier). Engineering and/or administrative controls should be implemented to reduce exposure. P310 - Ingestion: Call a physician or poison control center immediately. If conscious, give water freely. P338 - Eye contact: Immediately flush with plenty of water. After initial flushing, remove and contact lenses and continue flushing for at least 15 minutes. Assure adequate flushing by separating the eyelids with fingers. P360 - Skin contact: Immediately wash skin with soap and plenty of water. Remove contaminated clothing. 2.2.1 - Symptom of Exposure Health/Environment Breathing dust containing crystalline silica over a prolonged period of time may cause lung damage. Crystalline silica (quartz,cristobalite) is a known cause of silicosis, a progressive, sometimes fatal lung disease. May cause stomach cramps and gastro-intestinal disturbances.
