This substance/mixture contains no components considered to be either persistent, bioaccumulative and toxic (PBT), or very persistent and very bioaccumulative (vPvB) at levels of 0.1% or higher. Biohazard, Biosafety Level 2, Hazard Group 2: biological agent that can cause human disease and might be a hazard to workers, but it is unlikely to spread to the community., Plastic vials containg viable microorganisms of Hazard group 2 in a disc format. The discs consist of bacteria and fungi in a solid water soluble matrix.
